Introduction
In 2020, the year of President Donald Trump’s re-election and Coronavirus crisis,
the global financial market is expected to face a turning point. It is now facing a new
turning point as President Trump settles a trade dispute between the U.S. and China,
but the global economic recession is feared due to variables such as Coronavirus and Brexit.
The domestic financial market needs a breakthrough as it enters ‘Post-Coronavirus’, the Crisis
of Global Financial Market, and “Three-Low era”, such as low interest rates, low growth,
low margins, is set to become entrenched,
To overcome such a crisis, it is expected to accelerate its exploration of new markets, including strengthening overseas markets such as the New South. Specifically the New Southern Market
like Vietnam, which is emerging as a ‘Post China’ is becoming a major competition in the future
market for financial companies. Fin-tech technology is expected to play a key role in expanding
the Southeast Asian Market, with 40 percent of financial outsiders. And by exploring new
markets using FinTech, new financial opportunities will be expanded and economic cooperation
with Korea will be further expanded.
It is in need of that overcoming ‘The Age of New Abnormal’ and securing a better global presence. Therefore, to provide innovations and challenge strategies of the domestic financial industry,
we are hosting the 21st Seoul International Finance Forum under the theme of "The Age of New Abnormal" the Challenges and Opportunities of Global Financial Market. We would like you
to support and actively participate in this event to make it more significant and meaningful.
