Welcome to the 17th Seoul International A&D Conference. In particular, I would

like to thank Yoo Kwang Yeol, Senior Vice President of the Financial Supervisory

Service, Chairman Yong Won Kwon of the Korea Financial Investment Association,

and Ahn Hyo Joon, CIO of the National Pension Fund.

To cope with the rapidly changing financial investment environment, Financial

News has changed its Seoul international alternative investments & derivatives

Conference since last year, and celebrate its second year now.

Now, it is difficult for investors to make satisfied profits with only traditional assets

such as stocks and bonds. In fact, domestic large corporations and the financial

investment industry are paying attention to various alternative investments such as

real estate and infrastructure overseas.

I hope Kenneth Buckfire Stiffle, the keynote speaker and other speakers will give

us new ideas and strategies for the Korean financial investment industry that wants

to expand their investment.

As Europe's interest rates have fallen recently, investors' losses on derivatives-linked

financial instruments have increased, which made more awareness of it. In the

afternoon session, experts will gather to share their insights on the derivatives

market's flow and future direction.

As all the major investors who drive the domestic capital market are gathered, I hope

this conference will be a meaningful spot to be an investment compass.
