Don Chance
Professor/Louisiana State University

Don M. Chance, Ph.D., CFA, holds the James C. Flores Endowed Chair of MBA Studies and is Professor of Finance at the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University. He previously held the William H. Wright, Jr. Endowed Chair for Financial Services at LSU, and the First Union Professorship in Financial Risk Management at Virginia Tech. Prior to his academic career, he worked for a large southeastern bank, now part of Regions Bank. He has been a visiting scholar at universities in Hong Kong, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Scotland, and in the U. S. Professor Chance has had numerous articles published in academic and practitioner journals and has authored three books: An Introduction to Derivatives and Risk Management, 10th ed. co-authored with Robert Brooks, Essays in Derivatives: Risk Transfer Tools and Topics Made Easy (2nd ed.), and Analysis of Derivatives for the CFA Program. His current research is on foreign exchange risk management, dividend rights as executive compensation, the performance of random securities analysts, the measurement of alphas from option strategies, and companies that move from the NYSE to Nasdaq. His current forthcoming articles will appear in The Journal of Indexes and the Review of Derivatives Research. He has extensive experience conducting professional training programs, and his consulting practice (Omega Risk Advisors, LLC) serves companies, organizations, and law firms. He is also involved in the development and authorship of the derivatives and risk management curriculum in the CFA program. In 2015 he received the C. Stewart Shepard Award for his many years of service to the CFA Institute in the development of its educational programs.

Elaine Tang

“Ms. Elaine Tang has over 15 years’ experience in risk management covering the derivatives market at Singapore Exchange. She oversees the risk monitoring of the derivatives market. With her strong domain knowledge, Elaine had actively participated in the FSAP assessment program for SGX conducted by International Monetary Fund (IMF) where SGX is endorsed by as sound and efficient Central Counterparties (CCP) that comply with CPMI-IOSCO Principles for Financial Markets Infrastructure. Elaine is instrumental to the implementation of CPMI-IOSCO quantitative disclosure for SGX. She also specializes in crisis management, handling cases such as Lehman Brothers and MF Global.”
 
 
Matthieu Maupetit
Head of Option Market Making/BNP Paribas

Mr Matthieu Maupetit is Head of Option Market Making within the Automated Market Making (AMM) APAC team, at BNP Paribas based in Hong Kong.
Mr Maupetit joined BNP Paribas Paris office in 2007 as trading assistant for the European Index Exotic desk. In 2010, he joined the electronic options market making team in Paris as market maker; fulfilling BNP Paribas Market Making duties on main European exchanges. At the same time, he was also managing the development of BNP Paribas’ new generation trading tools for listed options on electronic markets. In 2012, he started the market making activity of Eurex Kospi Options in Paris. In 2013, he joined the AMM team in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Mr. Maupetit worked from 2002 – 2007 for “Orange/France Telecom” Research and Development division; working on areas such as IT security and cryptography. 
Mr. Maupetit holds two Master’s degrees in Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (French Higher National Institute of Telecommunications).

Michael Peters
Deputy CEO/Eurex Frankfurt

Michael Peters is Deputy CEO of Eurex Frankfurt AG since February 2016. He has been a member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG since 2006. He is also a member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland.

As a Board Member, Mr. Peters is responsible for derivatives business development, which includes strategic initiatives, market development for Asia and Middle East as well as pricing policy.

From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Peters worked at OMX AB in Stockholm as Head of Projects as well as for Strategic Initiatives. Besides important projects for exchange and clearing organizations in the U.S. and Asia/Pacific, his duties included the evaluation and implementation of strategic initiatives for the next generation of trading and clearing systems.

From 2000 to 2001, he was Managing Director of Trading Technologies in Frankfurt and Chicago, responsible for Business Development. From 1991 to 2000, Mr. Peters held various management positions within Deutsche Börse and Eurex, as well as Deutsche Terminbörse (DTB), a predecessor of Eurex. From March 2006 until March 2013 he was a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG.
 
 
Jung, Yoo Shin

Professor Jung of Sogang Business School has worked in the financial industry(capital market & venture capital market) for 28 years. Currently, he is also serving for ‘Fintech Supporting center’ as CEO, under the Financial Services Commission.
Starting off with Daewoo Economic Research Institute, Professor Jung has successively experienced many positions, as head of IB sector in Daewoo Securities, vice-president of Shinhan Financial Investment Corporation, CEO of Standard Chartered Securities, Korea, and recently CEO of Korea Venture Investment Corporation, one of Korean government agencies.

Kang, Myoun Wook
Executive Fund Director/National Pension Service

Myoun Wook Kang is the current Executive Fund Director & Chief Investment Officer of National Pension Service(NPS) of South Korea, world's third largest pension fund with AUM 527 trillion KRW as of the end of April, 2016. Based in Seoul, he is responsible for promoting investment performance of the National Pension Fund by leading the NPS Investment Management. 
Prior to joining NPS in 2016, Mr. Kang was with Meritz Asset Management. He was the Executive Advisor from 2013 to 2014 and the first Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2013. From 2005 to 2008, he served as the Country Head of South Korea in ABN AMRO Asset Management. 
Formerly, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management and Schroders Asset Management from 2001 to 2005. He was the head of London Office at Hyundai Investment Trust from 1998 to 2000, after leading the Global Investment Team of Kookmin Investment Trust from 1995. 
He earned his BA in Statistics and MBA from Sungkyunkwan University.

Ben was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Group Asia in May 2014. 
Macquarie Group is an Australian listed global financial services provider, with more than 70 office locations in 28 countries and $A504 billion in assets under management. In Asia, Macquarie has more than 3,500 people across 14 offices in 11 markets. 
Since joining Macquarie in 2006, Ben, who also co-heads Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) in Asia, has led the establishment of infrastructure and private equity funds across the region. In the last five years these funds have made investments in diverse sectors including water, renewables, utilities, transport and communications. 
Ben has been based in Asia for 15 years. He was previously the CEO of Taiwan Broadband Communications, where he continues to serve as Chairman and a management consultant with Bain & Company. 
A director of several non-profit and professional organisations, Ben is Vice Chair of the Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, a member of the Australia-Guangdong Business Council and Chairman’s Council of the Australia-China Relations Institute. He is a board member of HAGAR International and the Macquarie Group Foundation. Ben is a signatory to the 30% Club and #HeForShe.
 
 
Lee, Jae Kyun

Mr. Lee is the CEO and Representative Director of Samchully Asset Management Company. He is based in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Lee has 28 years of global experience in the finance industry. Prior to SAMCO, he was the COO of Macquarie Infrastructure Asset Management Co. in Korea where he successfully executed numerous infrastructure transactions and listed the Fund to the stock exchanges in both Seoul and London. Prior to joining Macquarie Group, Mr. Lee worked at Shinhan Bank for over 14 years. Mr. Lee has extensive experience in international banking and investment banking in Seoul, London, and New York. Mr. Lee is an Adjunct Professor in the Alternative Investment Curriculum at Seoul School of Integrated Science & Technologies. Mr. Lee received his M.S. in International Securities from University of Reading and his B.S. in International Economics from Seoul National University.
 
 
Amit Shah
CEO/IIFL Asset Management of India

Amit has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 11 years of advising global institutional investors.

He heads IIFL’s International Business with offices in New York, Houston, London, Ceneva, Mauritius, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong. His primary responsibility is to build Institutional & NRI HNI relationships globally for the group, which today stands at over US$5bn of assets under advisory/management.

Prior to IIFL Group, Amit has been associated with Kotak Mahindra Inc, New York, Citi Group’s Wealth Management business and IDBI bank.
