Markus Rosgen

Markus Rösgen is a Managing Director and Head of Regional Equity Strategy, based in Hong Kong.

Markus joined Citi Research in 2004 from Asia ING Financial Markets, where he was the Chief Strategist covering Asia and Japan. Before that, he worked as a Strategist at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong and London, and Warburg Securities in London. Markus has been consistently ranked as one of the Best 5 Regional Strategists by Asiamoney since 2003. In 2007, Markus and his team were a runner-up in Equity Strategy in the Institutional Investor Magazine (All-Asia Research Team survey) and also ranked #3 by Alpha Magazine surveys.

Markus holds a BA (Hons) degree in Western European Politics & French from the University of Essex, UK, and an MBA degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham Business School in the UK.
